Balance of Power Shifts South
RESILIENT POWER SOLUTIONS
LONDON BOUND
Billingham based Resilient Power Solutions is expanding its operations and opening new offices to cover the growth of its business in the South East.
The new offices are strategically based in Richmond, Surrey and will support projects currently underway with The National Archives and Metropolitan Police to provide uninterruptible power supplies & cooling load systems, so helping them protect their critical power and use their energy more effectively.
MD John McGee and fellow Director Andy Mullen said ‘Most people don’t understand what it is we do – dealing with Critical Power Systems – the impact to business is only realised when the power supply fails. So much of our critical power infrastructure supporting key organisations is ‘past it’s sell by date’ and not keeping pace with new innovation that can protect the continuous power needed to operate our businesses and take cost out of the business by working more efficiently.
I think we have all been in the’ hot house’ that is the computer data storage area – air conditioning maxing out, or fans running 24/7 to help keep the area cool, part of our service involves designing and installing cooling systems that keep the data you have safe with an uninterruptible power supply to ensure even in the event of a power failure our emergency systems keep your business functioning.
With key contracts secured for The National Archives & The Met, it made sense to expand into the South East, which enables us support these key accounts, create new jobs and actually save cost as we drastically reduce our travelling costs.
