Jake and John complete their Lands End to John O'Groats Challenge
960 MILES - DONE!!
John McGee (Managing Director or Resilient Power Solutions Ltd) and his son Jake have completed their Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle Challenge on the 5th June 2011 at 5.10pm.
What a fantastic achievement, especially for Jake who turned 13 during the 960 mile challenge to raise funds for The Butterwick Hospice. John's wife Alison and daughter Melissa were at the finish line to celebrate as they crossed the line - bottle of champagne in hand! The girls have followed Jake and John in the McGee Mobile (their adopted home) throughout their journey, providing continued support and encouragement to the boys.
Ali and Melissa also provided updates on the Jake and John website - www.whatjakeandjohndidnext.com detailing their progress throughout the tough challenge.
